Citizenship by Investment
Launched in 2017, Türkiye’s Citizenship by Investment Programme is a relative newcomer in the citizenship by investment industry, but it has found significant success among Middle Eastern applicants, particularly from Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Egypt.
General Requirements:
To qualify, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be of good moral character
- Sufficient funds to make an investment
- Travel requirement to supply biometrics
- No interview requirement
- No language requirement
- No residence requirement, although a residence permit must be obtained
- Main applicants may also include a number of dependants in an application.
Which family members can I include in my application?
Main applicants can include:
- Spouse
- Children of the main applicant or of the spouse if under the age of 18
- Children of the main applicant or of the spouse aged 18 or over with a medical condition that renders them dependent
There are no banned nationalities under the Türkiye Citizenship by Investment Programme, however citizens of Armenia and Syria are unable to purchase property in Türkiye.

REAL ESTATE
Applicants can invest US$400,000 in an approved real estate project recognised by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation. Successful applicants most hold that real estate for a minimum of three years.
